If you are a user with general public access to the open areas of the GovToday website, industry portals and event micro-sites we do not store or capture your personal information.
We do keep a record of traffic data which is logged automatically by our server, such as your IP address, the URL you visited before ours, the URL you visit after leaving our site and which pages you visit. We also collect some site statistics such as page hits and page views. We are not readily able to identify any individual from traffic data or site statistics.
If you opt to register for our website we shall ask you for your email address which will be verified and stored. We will also ask you for and store other personal information to enable us to tailor our communications to your individual preferences, e.g. areas of interest.
If you choose to register with the site you will be offered the option of accepting a cookie that will enable you to automatically log in thereafter. This cookie will contain your login details (i.e. your user name and password).
This privacy statement covers the GovToday website, industry portals and event micro-sites (accessed via www.govtoday.co.uk) only. This statement does not cover links within this site to other websites, nor the other websites themselves.
We don’t sell the information collected by cookies, nor do we disclose the information to third parties, except where required by law (for example to government bodies and law enforcement agencies).
