Compact Voice is seeking to gain an insight into how key government policies are impacting local voluntary and community organisations.

The third annual Compact Voice survey opens today, and is a vital way of understanding the health of local Compacts across England.

This year, the survey also seeks to establish how some of the Government's key policy developments – such as the health and social care agenda, Social Value Act and Best Value Guidance – are impacting on local partnerships.

The responses will provide a unique insight into the extent that organisations are engaging with the new health landscape and the reality of how these policies are affecting local groups.

The responses received will be launched in a report in the coming weeks, which will be published on the Compact Voice website and will be free to access.

Tom Elkins, Compact Voice Manager said:

"This survey is now in its third year, and we are looking forward to hearing the invaluable opinions of local organisations. Previous results have proved vital in helping set our work priorities, as well as working with local groups to help strengthen their partnership working.

We've also used this key insight to work with government departments to help them better understand the impact of their policies."

The survey takes just ten minutes to complete, and every completed entry has the chance to win an Amazon Kindle Paperwhite e-reader.

The survey can be completed at here and closes on Friday 21st June 2013.
