Alcohol hand sanitizer is not effective against norovirus but you have to wash hands after I think 3 or so applications of such products but how many people in health care practically do this?

With Trusts using the Bradord scoring system for sickness, I believe we are encouraging staff to return to work prior to being 48 hour symptom free, as there is a fear of the repercussions from management. This has the potential to create more than 1 strain of Norovirus floating around a ward, potentially creating multiple outbreaks within one ward, and lengthening any ward closures.
