Energenie’s first energy saving product, the Power Down, was launched in 2009. Developed to reduce the energy wasted by leaving appliances on standby, the Power Down range automatically cuts power to equipment when a programmable standby threshold is reached. The range includes PC Automatic Power Shutdown, suitable for computers with desk top reset, and the AV Automatic Power Shutdown and reset by infra-red remote control, which  is ideal for audio visual systems. Added to this range are wireless controlled adapters and 4 gang sockets as well as a run down timer which switches off power to appliances after 30 minutes  saving energy  and preventing potential fire hazards.

Further product development has led to more innovative products such as the Power Management System which enables the user to programme controlled sockets via a computer interface that can be switched on and off at certain times or events.   Recent additions to the range include a remote controlled Smart Radiator TRV offering three daily programmable options, a precise thermostat and a weekly valve maintenance cycle ensuring that the radiator does not become seized; and the Remote GSM Controlled Power Socket which can be switched off and on via a mobile phone and advises if power is lost to the socket so is ideal for appliances in remote locations.  The product also has a thermostat that can be programmed to operate within a temperature range.
