Clinical supply chain efficiency – not sexy, but essential

The future is an uncertain place for NHS senior management - lots more structural change on the way, and much less money. When I talk to clients there is a very real anxiety about meeting growing demands with diminished resources. I don't envy them having to make so many decisions that will have such profound impact on the lives of staff and patients. However, there is at least one area where they can take immediate action which will yield savings and increase efficiency and that's in supply chain management.
